Natural Deodorant Travel Guide: Flying, Road Trips and Hot Cars
Travel changes everything about a deodorant routine: airport days, long drives, unfamiliar water, heat, tight clothing and products sitting in a suitcase for hours.
Pack the product correctly
Keep a natural deodorant away from prolonged heat. A hot car or sunny window can soften the formula and change how a stick applies.
Use clean, dry skin
After a shower, dry the underarms before applying. If you are traveling without a shower, cleansing wipes can be useful, but allow the skin to dry before applying cosmetic products.
Road trips
Do not store the stick permanently in the glove box. Keep it inside the cabin in a cooler, shaded location and avoid direct sunlight.
Air travel
Pack according to current airline rules and keep the product protected from heat. A deodorant stick is generally a simpler travel format than a liquid.
Hot destinations
Remember that odor control and sweat control are different. In very hot weather, breathable clothing and regular cleansing become just as important as the deodorant itself.
